About the brewery:
The Radegast brewery was founded in 1970 in Nosovice and is named after a Slavic god worshiped by the Ratar tribe in the Middle Ages. The name of the brewery was chosen in a public competition. The exhibition of the brewery grew rapidly and in the year at the end of the 80s it already had a production of 1 million hectoliters of beer. Radegast is a long-standing sponsor of the Czech hockey team. Their lagers are awarded at beer competitions and in 2002 they won gold medals at the World Beer Cup competition. In addition to light lagers, the brewery's portfolio also includes heavily hopped Ratar, semi-dark lager and IPA. Together with Pilsner Urquell, Radegast belongs to the Asahi group.
