Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery is a major brewery based in Monterrey, Mexico. It was founded in 1890 and produced its first keg of Carta Blanca beer in 1893 under the name Cuauhtémoc. It won first prize at the Chicago and Paris World's Fairs. Since 2010, it has been part of the Heineken International group. The Mexican company operates breweries in Monterrey, Guadalajara, Toluca, Tecate, Orizaba, Navojoa and, since 2017, Meoqui. These plants produce the Dos Equis, Sol, Bohemia, Superior, Carta Blanca, Noche Buena, Indio, Casta and Tecate brands, among others.
