About the brewery:
The Prerov brewery dates its history back to 1252, when King Premysl Otakar II. granted the privilege of brewing beer to the market village of Prerov. Modern history began in 1873 when a new brewery was built. After World War II, the brewery was part of a group of breweries together with other Moravian breweries. In 1970, the production of the brewery was over 500,000 hl. The brewery brews beers using modern technology under the Zubr brand and has Clasic, Gold, Grand, Premium and Gradus in its range. In 2022, Gradus lager won the European Beer Star award. After the Velvet Revolution, the Prerov Brewery created a brewery group together with the Holba and Litovel breweries.
