About the brewery:
Zichovec is currently the largest craft brewery in Czechia. It is run by father and sons Husák. They started as a restaurant brewery in the village of Zichovec, near the town of Slaný. However, thanks to the quality of their beers, they managed to attract customers from all over the area. Now, the Zichovec brewery brews beer in a renovated former tank shooting range on the outskirts of Louny, where they brew around 120 types of beer a year. The brewery is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a canning line, which keeps the beer fresh for longer. Its capacity is also used by a number of microbreweries, with which Zichovec often cooperates on batches. Their most popular beer among lagers is Magor, and among specials, it is definitely NEIPA Nectar of Happiness, which was rated the best beer in the Czech Republic by Untappd.com in 2019. Zichovec follows all modern trends and is also successfully involved in a barrel-aged program.
