About the brewery:
Zichovec is currently the largest craft brewery in the Czech Republic. It is run by the father and sons of Husák. They started as a restaurant brewery in the village of Zichovec, near the town of Slany. However, due to the quality of its beers, it managed to attract customers from all over the area. Now the Zichovec brewery brews beer in the renovated former tank shooting range on the outskirts of Louny, where it brews around 120 beers a year. The brewery is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a canning line that keeps the beer fresh longer. Its capacity is also used by a number of microbreweries, with which Zichovec often makes cooperative batches. Their most popular beer among the lagers is Magor and among the specials is definitely NEIPA Nectar of Happiness, which was rated the best beer in the Czech Republic in 2019 by Untappd.com. Zichovec follows all the modern trends and is also successfully engaged in a barrel aged program.
