About the brewery:
Zichovec is currently the largest craft brewery in the Czech Republic. It is run by father and sons Husák. They started as a restaurant brewery in the village of Zichovec, near the town of Slaný. However, due to the quality of their beers, they have managed to attract customers from all over the area. Now the Zichovec brewery brews beer in the renovated premises of a former tank shooting range on the outskirts of Louny, where they brew around 120 types of beers a year. The brewery is equipped with the latest technology and a canning line, thanks to which the beer stays fresh longer. Its capacity is also used by a number of microbreweries, with whom Zichovec often makes cooperative batches. Their most popular beer is Magor among lagers, and among the specials, it is clearly the NEIPA Nectar of Happiness, which was rated the best beer in the Czech Republic in 2019 by the Untappd.com server. Zichovec follows all modern trends and is also successfully engaged in a barrel aged program.
