About the brewery:
Zichovec is currently the largest craft brewery in the Czech Republic. It is the largest brewery in the Czech Republic. They started out as a restaurant brewery in the village of Zichovec, near the town of Slaný. However, thanks to the quality of its beers, it managed to attract customers from all over the region. Now, the Zichovec brewery brews beer in a renovated former tank firing range on the outskirts of the town of Louny, where it brews approximately 120 types of beer annually. The brewery is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a canning line that keeps the beer fresh longer. Several microbreweries also utilize its facilities, with which Zichovec often produces collaborative batches. Their most popular lager is Magor, and among their special beers, it’s definitely NEIPA Nektár štěstí, which was rated the best beer in the Czech Republic by Untappd.com in 2019. Zichovec keeps up with all the latest trends and has also successfully launched a barrel-aging program.
