About the brewery:
The brewery in the Austrian Alpine town of Wieselburg was first mentioned in 1650, but its importance only began to grow around 1770. In the nineteenth century, the brewery changed hands and continued to grow until in 1925, Brau Union Österreich AG was founded, which gradually bought out 8 large Austrian breweries and was finally bought by Heineken itself in 2003.
