About the brewery:
Irish brewery Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company was founded in 2014 by Quincey Fennelly and Simon Lynch, who fell in love with craft beer during their many years in California. The brewery is located in Newtownmountkennedy, south of Dublin near Wicklow National Park. The microbrewery grew quickly after its founding and has brewed many great and interesting beers. In 2019 they built a new larger brewery called BrauKon with a brewing capacity of 35 hectolitres. The brewery has its own 10 acre hop farm located in Roundwood. Here they grow their own hops overlooking the wild Wicklow forests. They source their malt from the Malting Company in Cork. But the Irish producer doesn't make specialty malts, so the brewery imports those from Germany and Belgium. They currently produce 16 beers and supply 150 pubs across Ireland and export to other European countries. The brewery is a leader in sustainability and has become the first Irish brewery to have a solar power source to provide 30% of their electricity.
