O pivovaru:
Irský pivovar Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company byl založený v roce 2014 Quincey Fennellym a Simonem Lynchem, kteří se do řemeslného piva zamilovali během svého dlouholetého pobytu v Kalifornii. Pivovar se nachází ve městě Newtownmountkennedy jižně od Dublinu nedaleko národního parku Wicklow. Minipivovar po založení rychle rostl a uvařil spoustu skvělých a zajímavých piv. V roce 2019 postavili nový větší pivovar s označením BrauKon o kapacitě varny 35 hektolitrů. Pivovar má vlastní chmelnici o rozloze 10 akrů, která se nachází v Roundwoodu. Zde pěstují vlastní chmel s výhledem na divoké wicklowské lesy. Slad požívají od společnosti Malting Company v Corku. Irský výrobce ale nevyrábí speciální sladů, takže ty pivovar dováží z Německa a Belgie. Aktuálně produkují 16 druhů piva a dodávají je do 150 hospod po celém Irsku a vyváží do ostatních evropských zemí. Pivovar je lídrem v oblasti udržitelnosti a stal se prvním irským pivovarem se solárním zdrojem elektřiny, který jim pokryje 30 % jejich spotřeby.
