About the brewery:
The Garden Brewery is currently the best Croatian brewery. It was founded by British and Croatian investors in 2016 in Zagreb, and just 3 years later it became the most popular EU brewery according to fan ratings in Great Britain. As of 2020, their shares are traded on the Croatian Stock Exchange. The Garden produces world-class craft beer. The range includes summer ales, IPAs, fruit sours and lagers. You can find their modern brewery on the outskirts of Zagreb in a new glass building right next to the Gorenje factory. It's worth a visit as it also has an amazing hipster taproom with a garden where you can sample their current beers and grab a bite to eat. The operation is headed up by brewer Pete Vick, who previously held the same role at Brick Brewery in London. The brewery owns a stake in Croatian music festival promotion agency Full Circle, so it tends to brew a lot of pils and easy-drinking ales.
