About the brewery:
Central Bohemian brewery Nymburk was founded in 1895 and in the very first season, 21,000 hl of beer was produced. The brewery has a license to produce beer with motifs from the books of the famous Czech writer Bohumil Hrabal. That is why their beers are labeled as Pepinova Desítka, Francinův Ležák or Něžný Barbar. Bohumil Hrabal lived in the brewery in his youth and his parents and uncle worked there. Currently, the brewery is completely independent and does not belong to any multinational brewing group. The brewery has its own malt house and 85 lager tanks in the cellars. The brewery's current output is around 150,000 hl per year.
