Polly's 12° Little Patternist Pale Ale

Polly's 12° Little Patternist Pale Ale

This Pale Ale was created in 2020 as a reaction to the fashion for strong double and triple IPAs. Polly's wanted to show that it could give a beer incredible notes of mango and pineapple supported by an earthy bitterness, while still maintaining a standard beer gradation. Notes of anise, melon and cucumber can be felt in the aroma. The taste shows sweet and ripe tropical fruits such as mango, papaya and a light pine cocktail. More

About the brewery:
North Wales craft brewery Polly's Brew Co was founded in 2019 by Sean Wheldon on a family farm. The name of the brewery refers to their horse Polly and they initially brewed the beer in his former stable. From humble beginnings of brewing once every eleven days and bottling three times a month, they quickly grew to three members within the first six months and moved across the yard from the Polly stable to a larger workshop. The reputation of the brewery has grown by leaps and bounds and it has become the highest rated brewery in Wales and is also considered one of the highest rated breweries in the whole of the UK. He brews cooperatives with breweries such as Northern Monk, Cloudwater and Verdant. Sean prides himself on serving modern beer in North Wales, including premium IPAs, Pale Ales, lagers, sours, stouts and more. They are set to open their first tap room in their hometown of Mold in early 2025.
