About the brewery:
Pivovar Ostravar is an Ostrava brewery that was founded in 1897. Until the beginning of the First World War, the brewery produced something between 53 and 60 thousand liters of beer annually, but at the beginning of the 20th century, production slowed down. In modern history, the brewery became successful after 2000, when it merged with the Staropramen brewery. New technologies were installed and Velvet and Kelt beers were brewed. Since 2003, Ostravar has been collecting one award after another. Its stable portfolio consists of Ostravar, Černá Barbora and Mustang beers.
