Obora 14° Art of Hop #4 Rye IPA

Obora 14° Art of Hop #4 Rye IPA

In the Art of Hop series, Obora creates interesting hop combinations and uses new hop varieties. Each batch is therefore original, a little bit of a work of art by one of their brewers. In this batch, Obora presents a Rye IPA with American hops Simcoe, El Dorado and Cryo Azacca. The combination of these varieties brings a distinct aroma of tropical fruit, citrus and resinous notes, which harmoniously blend with the lightly spicy character of rye malt. The result is a fuller, yet refreshing and well-drinkable IPA with a pleasantly dry finish. Read more

About the brewery:
Obora is a microbrewery founded in 2015 in southern Bohemia. You can find it a few kilometers from Tábor, in the village of Obora. Farmer and homebrewer Martin Novák brews beer mainly from his own hops and malt. They grow Žatecký Poloraný Červenák, Sládek, Kazbek, Premiant and Rubín on the hop farm, which is within sight of the brewery. They also have their own malt made from their own barley. Brews unfiltered and unpasteurized beers, bottom, top and spontaneously fermented. As one of the first in the Czech Republic, they dared to play the current American hit called Hard Seltzer.
