About the brewery:
The Cornelissen family has been brewing Limburgse beer since 1859 in Opitter. The family of Jef Cornelissen is now in its sixth generation. The brewery combines craft and tradition with the use of the latest techniques, resulting in a portfolio of high quality beers. The best proof of the quality of their beer is the many awards and medals their Witte has won at various international beer competitions. They grow the yeast for their beers right in the brewery itself. They are regularly propagated from the original strain, which they keep in the laboratory. They use water from their own well, pumped from a depth of 160 metres, to brew their beer. Combined with the passion and experience of their master brewers, all of this results in delicate Belgian beers with unique taste sensations, which we now also offer on the Beershop.
