About the brewery:
Libertas is a joint venture of several investors who built their dream brewery in Úvaly near Prague. The brewmaster is Robert Franěk, who previously worked at the Hendrych and Kamenice nad Lipou breweries. Thanks to generous investments in the brewery, he can use state-of-the-art technology based on a 25 hl brewing kettle, high-quality CK tanks, and his own nitrogen generator. The basis of the lagers is malt from the Ferdinand malt house in Benešov, and the hops come from the Žatec hop-growing region. For the production of top-fermented beers, they use malt from the Dutch Swaen malt house and hop varieties from around the world.
