About the brewery:
Van Honsebrouck is a Belgian brewery in Ingelmunster. It was founded in 1865 as Sint-Jozef Brewery and renamed Brewery Van Honsebrouck in 1953. It is owned by the Van Honsebrouck family, who bought the castle in 1986 and this served as the inspiration for the introduction of the Kasteel brand. Their portfolio also includes the brands Bocchus, St. Louis, Trignac, Filou, and others. In the 1960s, the brewery shifted from producing classic lagers to specialty beers and this allowed them to grow globally. They export 55% of their production.
