About the brewery:
The history of the brewery in Kamenice nad Lipou began in 1636 and it was quite successful until the arrival of the communists in the 1950s. The restoration of the brewery took place in 2016. Since then, the brewery has been quite successful in making a name for itself in Czech and Moravian pubs and their lagers have become a popular alternative to commercial breweries. The brewery in Kamenice is divided into a standard large brewery with a 30 hl brewhouse and a microbrewery with a smaller 500 l brewhouse, which is used by a number of flying breweries and hosts workshops and brewing courses. Kamenice's portfolio includes excellent lagers as well as well-regarded top-fermented pale specials and stouts.
