Fresh apples of the Strýmka variety from Vysočina and André grapes from Bořetice have come together in an unusual spontaneously fermented cuvée. The grapes were macerated briefly, then gently pressed with a solitary press and placed in a barrel for aging. The still juicy skins were then covered with fresh cider, creating a drink that beautifully combines the fruity freshness of the apples with the slightly wild character of the blue wine. About the producer:
The first bottles of cider were bottled in 2019. However, the story began much earlier, when Lukáš Joudal traveled the world, tasted famous ciders and saw the work in a cider house. He liked cider production so much that after returning to the Czech Republic in the fall, he decided to start his own cider production. He bought the first 3 non-cutting machines and started harvesting apples. Together with his family and friends, they tour old orchards and then process everything by hand - from washing, pressing, bottling. Don't expect any machines, no work facilitation, they do everything honestly by hand and with love.
