About the brewery:
The Brasserie St-Feuillen brewery was founded by Stephanie Friart in 1873 at the gates of the Belgian town of Le Roeulx, located south of Brussels. Within a few years, her beer won numerous awards at international exhibitions, which were very popular at the time. Her nephew then took over the brewery and moved it to the city center. At that time, the brewery was already brewing grisette, saison, triple, and belge styles. After the war, they also began producing Pilsner beers, and their Christmas specials became very popular, gradually becoming a tradition in Belgium. Their flavored grisette is definitely worth trying. St. Feuillien resumed production in 2004, continuing a regional tradition, as grisette was brewed in about 50 microbreweries at the beginning of the 20th century. However, these disappeared in the 1950s, and now we have a unique opportunity to rediscover this style of beer.
