About the brewery:
The famous Spanish brewery Hijos de Rivera Brewery was founded in 1906 by José María Rivera Corral when he returned to Galicia from his travels in the Caribbean. The company remains 100% owned by his heirs, the founder's grandson is in charge. The brewery exports to Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico and the USA. Annual production is approximately 200 million liters. You may also know the Estrella Galicia brand from Formula 1 sponsorship, as it has been sponsoring the McLaren Racing team since 2019 with a small break. In 2006, the company celebrated its centenary in the company of King Juan Carlos. On this occasion, a beer named 1906 Reserva Especial was launched. In 2017, the company bought a 32% stake in the Irish brewery Carlow Brewing Company, which produces O'Haras beers.
