About the brewery:
The Hijos de Rivera Brewery produces the Estrella Galicia brand of light lager. The Estrella Galicia company was founded in 1906 by José María Rivera Corral upon his return to Galicia from his travels in Cuba and Mexico. The company remains 100% owned by the heirs to this day and is led by the founder’s grandson. The brewery exports beer to the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. Annual production is approximately 200 million liters. You may also recognize the Estrella Galicia brand thanks to its sponsorship of Formula 1; since 2019, it has been the new sponsor of the McLaren Racing team.
