About the Brewery:
Bavaria Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in the Netherlands. It was first mentioned in 1719 as a brewery in De Kerkdijk. The Moorees family brewed beer there on a small scale. One of their daughters married Swinkels. Their descendants took over the brewery in 1764. Since then, Bavaria Brewery and the Swinkels name have been inseparably linked. What began 300 years ago on a farm at Kerkdijk in Lieshout (province of Brabant) has grown into an international family business. The brewery has its own natural mineral water source and its own malt house. Bavaria brewed the first fully non-alcoholic beers in the Netherlands. The brewing method used for its non-alcoholic products is still unique in the brewing world. In 2010, they launched the first non-alcoholic Witbier in the Dutch market.
