Thanks to the combination of flakes, four types of malts and especially Cryo Hops x Phantasm, the beer has strong fruity flavours most reminiscent of passion fruit, guava and blackcurrant. The flavour profile is fine-tuned with notes of sweet fruit, raspberry, peach and banana. More

About the brewery:
Vili Ilgner worked for years for large breweries, but always dreamed of one day making his own beer. In 2008, his dream really came true and he brewed his first beer, which is now known as Pilsner Ilgner. After three years of brewing beer for his family and loved ones, they decided to make a 2 hl technology with fermentation vats and lager tanks and officially registered the brewery. Due to the increasing demand they had to expand their premises and started the brewery pub Lidový dům in Stary Plzenec. The increase in production meant moving production to larger premises and providing new technology. Today their family brewery is located in a renovated former barn in the village of Druzstová. After 6 long years of building, they started brewing beer in Druzztová. They also started The Barn Beer Co. project, which focuses on top-fermented beers and various progressive beer styles. All of their beers on tap can be sampled at their pub, The Barn Tavern.
