In 2013, they resumed the production of apple cider in the former distillery in Vizovice, thus continuing the family tradition of producing fruit drinks started by Antonín Kalenda in 1928.A.K. Cider is an alternative for customers who like to try something new. They make the drink from cider, from local apple varieties, just like generations before them. Their main rule is not to interfere with what nature does best when fermenting fruit cider. They use fruit from chemically untreated trees from Vizovice and the surrounding area, respecting nature, respecting tradition and innovating for the future - planting trees of Wallachian long-lived varieties and maintaining old orchards.
